Do I Qualify?

Everyone qualifies for care. If you have no insurance, you may also qualify for a discount. Your fee is set on a sliding scale based on your household income and the number of people in your household.

How the sliding fee scale works

The scale follows federal poverty guidelines. Registration staff compare your household’s yearly gross income and family size against the guidelines and set your discounted fee for each visit.

To apply, bring proof of identity and proof of income. See the list of accepted documents.

Your discount is reviewed once a year, and any time your household income or size changes. If you already have insurance, you can still apply for a discount on services your plan does not cover, such as dental.

2026 federal poverty guidelines

These are the federal figures the scale is based on. Where your household falls relative to them decides your discount. Staff confirm your fee when you register.
